Analisis Semiotika Makna Kerinduan Pada Lirik Lagu “Janji Setia” Karya Tiara Andini

Abstrak

Longing is a feeling experienced by someone, who really wants something, such as meeting, wanting to see, or wanting to meet someone. Janji Setia. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research. While the analysis method used is semiotic analysis developed by Ferdinand De Saussure. Saussure’s semiotics theory focuses the signifier and the signifieds. The results of this study show that the song “Janji Setia” contains the meaning of longing in the lyrics The conclusion of this research is that Tiara Andini as the songwriter wants to convey that her long distance relationship makes the feeling of longing present in her heart, which makes both of them wait to see each other again.
