Analisis Naratif Film “Norma: Mertua Dan Menantu” Ketegangan Budaya Patriarki Perempuan Dua Generasi

Abstrak

The film Norma: Between Mertua and Menantu presents a domestic conflict between a mother-in-law and a daughter-in-law triggered by differences in values ​​and expectations within the family. This article analyzes the film through a narrative approach to understand how patriarchal culture is represented in women's relationships across generations. By reading the story structure, characters, and conflicts, this study shows that the film depicts tensions between older women who reproduce patriarchal values ​​and younger women who try to negotiate their roles and identities. This analysis shows how patriarchy is not only perpetuated by men, but also by women who have become attached to the system.
